Review by hotel critic
Despite language barriers, the staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome. The restaurant's locally sourced dishes, especially the pike in dill sauce, were delicious. Our suite was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate living room and bedroom, a small fridge, and a tea kettle. The hotel's lakeside location adds to its charm, offering a picturesque setting. While the on-site restaurant impressed me with its delectable food, I found it more suited for a meal stop rather than a stay. The staff was attentive, offering secure bicycle storage for active guests exploring the scenic Green Velo cycleways.Although the hotel provides basic amenities like free toiletries, an electric kettle, and Wi-Fi, the overall value for the price point could be improved. Guests seeking a budget-friendly option with great lake views and friendly staff will find this hotel appealing, but those looking for a higher level of luxury might want to explore other options.
